Polk Youth Remnants

Camp Polk Prison Farm opened in 1920, becoming Polk Youth Center in 1963. The facility relocated to Granville County in 1997. Taggers took over. Demolished in 2004 for the NC Museum of Art Park expansion. Only the smokestack survives.
